More control, cleaner captions, and enhanced customization for conferences and online meetings
February continues with more tools to help you deliver professional, multilingual events with ease. From smarter caption management to subtitle personalization and glossary flexibility, these updates are all about giving you more control during live sessions.
Here’s what’s new:
➤ Clear Captions Instantly in EventCAT Conference

Managing real-time captions during conferences is now easier. If you're using the Caption Overlay feature, you’ll now see a Clear Caption button that allows you to manually reset the text box at any time.
How to enable it:
Click the Settings button on the top-right of the Conference preview screen
Turn on Caption Overlay
The Clear Caption button will appear for on-demand control
This feature is available on the following plans:
- Half-day Pass
- All-day Pass
- Advanced Customization Plan
Make sure your session is using one of these plans and click "Start Session" to activate.
➤ New Sentence Insertion Mode in OnlineMeeting
Choose where new subtitles appear: top or bottom
EventCAT OnlineMeeting now lets you control the position of subtitles as they’re translated in real time.
Here’s how:
Go to Settings in the OnlineMeeting preview screen
Under New Sentence Insertion, choose “At the top” or “At the bottom”
This small change makes a big difference in how your audience reads and follows the flow of conversation.
